I write this on the day I have nicknamed Chris “Scholsey”. Paul Scholes is the perfect professional footballer, not fused with the glitzy lifestyle and the money that his job brings him. Although there’s no doubt we don’t earn the same money, Chris has the same values which makes him the perfect pro, he rocks up to work, loves his work, works hard and goes home to his lovely growing family and tucks himself away in his quite village and gets on with his life. I will always have so much respect for Chris because of his attitude towards work and life,

I also blame Chris for many of my dropped catches, we talk in between deliveries like many, however, he has the ability to switch on and catch some of the finest catches I’ve ever seen, he takes my concentration away and leaves me thinking of something other than the ball!! He is the best fielder in the country, amazing to watch and work alongside.

Chris has become a good mate, and like I say, someone I respect a lot. Good luck to you and your family in your benefit year.
